Hailey's 3rd Birthday!!

My baby is 3 years old!! I can't believe it.. Where did the time go? As much as I miss a baby around, Hailey is my best little buddy! She makes everyday better, and Josh and I just love her to pieces! This age is so fun AND funny, she cracks us up on a daily basis. Can't imagine our lives any other way! Love you Hailey Jo, Happy Birthday!!

For her Birthday we woke up and opened presents from Mom and Dad. She got some good practice in from Christmas, so she was a pro at opening her presents! Her favorite gifts were her train set and leap pad. She could have just sat and played Choo Choos all day long and had the best birthday ever! Buut we had other plans! Josh and I took her to Jumpkin Jacks and out to lunch before her nap. Then the party started! Her cousins came down and we went back to Jumpin Jacks for more fun! After we headed to my Mom's for pizza, cake, and more presents! Hailey wanted nothing to do with pizza.. She ate 9 cupcakes!! NINE! and then a piece of cake to top it off. Hahaha we were all a little amazed. But hey she's the Birthday Girl and she knows how to party! It was such a good day!

I love everything about the Holidays! I am in the best mood for pretty much two months straight. Josh even loves it more than I do.. And thats sayin somethin! So put us together and it gets crazy! Anyways Christmas was great! We are so blessed. Hailey is old enough to understand Santa now, so that was fun! I also tried to teach her about the true meaning of Christmas.. She got upset everytime. All she knows is that when I explain that Christmas is Jesus's birthday, it meant it wasn't hers.. Poor thing was so confused about Birthdays and Christmas because hers is on the 27th. lol, but she did have a good Christmas! She was so shocked when she walked into the living room and saw all her gifts. We had to tell her it was ok to touch them! Kids are so dang fun! We opened and played with toys all morning, had a yummy breakfast, took a nap, and headed up to see my parents. We spent the whole week with them! So nice to have a week off and spend it with family!

Cute story I don't want to forget..

Josh and I had been trying to find a family to help this Christmas.. Well I was taking Hailey into daycare one night and they had an Angel Tree. I thought this was just the cutest idea and so we picked a few names off to shop for. The next day I took Hailey shopping, while explaining to her we were picking out presents for kids that needed them. I ended up buying a lot of coats, gloves, hats, ect.. We got home and I was wrapping these presents and telling her how happy the girls and boys would be on Christmas because some kids don't have coats, and toys. So I continue wrapping and about 10 minutes later Hailey comes walking out of her room with every single coat she owns and told me she got them for the kids. My heart melted! She reminds me how blessed we are and how I want to help families in need all year. Kids have a cute way of reminding us of whats really important. She would give all her coats away without hesitation. I want to be more like that. Anyways, We just love her!

Thanksgiving 2011

It was my families year for Thanksgiving, so we headed up North! We were able to stay at my parents for 3 days with ALL of us.. It was wild, but so fun! It has been forever since we have had all the kids and grandkids together. Good thing my parents upgraded to a bigger house this year! Dinner and desert were super yummy :) Black Friday shopping was A-mazing!! So nice to have a long weekend and spend it with people we love. <3

Little Mermaid

So almost two months ago we bought our tickets for The Little Mermaid @ Tuacahn. It's been sold out all summer! We finally got to see it last week, AMAZING! seriously we loved it. We were worried about Hailey and a 3 hour play, but she sat on the edge of her seat lovin every minute of it! We didn't get home until like midnight! But it was worth it, Hailey just loves Ariel! Anyway, you should totally go! We are going to try and see Greece next month :)

Demolition Derby

Ok, Josh and I LOVE Demolition Derbys! I don't understand why anyone wouldn't, it's a super fun time! Josh and I always pick our fav car and make little bets on whose will win. (mine won!) hailey was so concerned at first haha, she kept saying, " oh noo Mom! " but she got in the spirit real quick and loved all the action!

I absolutely love when my school does Princess Days! Of course I had Josh bring Hailey in. We do the girls hair, makeup, nails, and we make a craft while watching Tangled and eating snacks! Fun day right!? Hailey had the time of her life.. She is always asking to come to school with me now. I wish she could! She is my little princess!!

So Josh and I have a little ballerina on our hands! We signed Hailey up for Twinkle Stars dance class last month and I can't believe how much she LOVES it! I have to admit I get excited about it to. Josh stops by every week for a few minutes to see how she has improved before he heads to the gym. Of course she can't do a routine, but she tries so hard to do the moves and follow her teacher. I just want her to have the experience. We get to practice at home a little bit to, So fun!

Lets add another celebration to the mix! haha I sure hope having her birthday two days after Christmas won't bother her when she is older.. She woke up the day after her birthday wanting presents and singing Happy Birthday to herself :) Between Christmas and her Birthday she gets spoiled!! We were up at my parents house for her birthday, and both our parents got to join in on the fun! We went to Jumpin Jacks and out to lunch. Then she took a 3 hour nap, haha. When she woke up we played with toys had pizza and cake and played some more!! I know she had the best day ever, it was so cute!! I can not believe how fast time flies.. I can't imagine life without her. Josh and I love her to pieces!! Happy Birthday Princess!!

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone! We just love the Holidays, so I'm sad I had to take down the tree today.. But, Christmas was amazing this year! I was so happy to be surrounded by family. We went to the Temple and walked around, so peaceful, and really brought out the Christmas spirit. Christmas Eve Josh, Hailey, and I opened our new PJ's, ate yummy snacks, and watched a Christmas movie. SO fun! Then Josh and I played Santa. Christmas is so much fun with a 2 year old! Haha she about died when she saw what Santa brought her. Then Christmas night we loaded up and drove to my parents house. We stayed for almost 5 days and loved it! It was SO good to see both of our families. We hope everyone had a great Christmas! Snackin Christmas Eve At the Temple

We went to Oceanside, Ca for a family reunion/vacation. This is the second time we have done this, and we were counting down the days! We LOVE it there. My grandparents get rooms for everyone right on the beach. It's amazing! We got to spend a whole week there! We shared the presidential suite with my parents and sister. Our room had its own bathroom and jacuzzi! It was so nice. Plus we got lots of good family time in! We went boogie boarding, shopping, bike riding, ect.. Hailey loved the ocean, even though it was freeeezing! She is a beach baby! Such a fun vaca, thanks to my Grandma & Grandpa!!

Today we got Hailey a "Big Girl" bed and she absolutely LOVES it! It is so funny.. She has been trying (almost succeeding) in climbing out of her crib every morning. SO we are going to try this bed out. We are also going to start potty training! She is showing a lot of signs she is ready, so I'm super excited about it... Not.. Today was a lot of firsts for out baby girl. I mean Big Girl!

Josh and I got to go on a little Vegas getaway for a few days! My Mom came down to stay with Hailey and they had so much fun together! We missed her so much, but I'm glad she got to spend time with Grandma. By the time we got home Hailey wouldn't even come to me, she only wanted Grandma Jeri! Hailey LOVES to be outside. We probably spend at least 2 hours a day in our yard and going on walks. Last week I decided we needed some water toys becuase it's getting so hot! Now she loves being out there more than before! I'm glad she can have so much fun right in our own yard. :)

A lot has happened since I posted last. I was laid off the first part of January, but luckily I was able to find another stay at home job that is acutally better in a lot of ways! This week we went to Salt Lake so I could do my training from 5-11 p.m every night! But we were able to stay at Josh's parents so it was a good visit! Hailey had so much fun with her little cousins. Training felt so long, I've never been away from my baby as much as I was this week. I'm so glad Josh was able to come up and spend some good daddy daughter time with her. Anyways while we were there we went to the Aquarium in Sandy with Josh's sister and her kids. They loved it! Here are some cute pictures.

This year it was just Josh, Hailey, and I for Christmas. We both had to work so we missed out on seeing family. We really missed everyone, and hope your Christmas was wonderful! We did enjoy each other though, Josh and I always camp out in the living room by the tree the entire week before Christmas. Haha we stay up late and watch Christmas movies, ect. So its always fun! We enjoyed getting all of Hailey's toys set up, and I was SO excited for her to wake up and see her presents. So of course she slept in until 10:30! It was so cute, she was really excited and loved everything! We made a big breakfast together, red pancakes, green eggs, and bacon. It was nice to look at and delicious! Then we spent the rest of the day relaxing and playing games. We just love the holidays! Merry Christmas Everyone!

We got to go stay with my parents for 5 days last week. All of my family was able to come down for Thanksgiving. It was so fun to see everybody! I'm so grateful for family! My parents rented a bouncy house, so the kids AND adults had a blast. Hailey loved playing with her little cousins. She took a few steps for my mom and Cassie! She is getting so close to walking. Dinner was so yummy! I love the Holidays!

Last weekend we pierced Haileys ears. I was really nervous, but she did so good! She cried for about 2 minutes and then was all smiles! :) She looks so cute. When I show her in the mirror I call them her pretty pretties haha and she just started trying to say it to. It's more of a Pee Pee sound, but I love it! She's such a doll. This was the best pic I could get.. I realize you can't really see the earrings, but her cheeks are just too chunky!!

Last weekend we went up to SLC for Josh's volleyball game against U of U. It was their first game, so Hailey and I wanted to tag along. They did awesome! We took a trip to Vegas for 4 days! It was so good to get away before school started again for Josh. Sorry I didn't get very many pictures, I kept forgetting my camera!

I can't believe it is already August!! This summer is going by so fast.. My brother Danny got married on July 25th in Portland. We were not able to make it, but we did get to see them the weekend after at their reception in Utah. They are so cute, we are so happy for them! They will be moving right across the street from us, so that will be so fun!! It was nice to get away and see both of our families. We spent a night at Josh's house and had a BBQ and played in their swimming pool! Hailey is getting so big!! She will be 8 months soon. She is going to crawl any day now and she waved to me yesterday!!! I was SOO excited, haha. She also says dadeee, it's so cute. We just love her so much! I am going to post some videos of her soon.

We had such a fun 4th of July! We headed down to Kanab on Thursday night and stayed all weekend! We went golfing with my family on Friday and out to dinner. On Saturday we got up early and went to the town breakfast, watched the parade, went to the park, then to my aunt and uncles house! We had a blast seeing friends and family. Hailey was so cute all weekend, she loved all the fireworks!

Today Josh made me delish teriyaki BBQ Chicken! And the day before he cooked steaks :) He is lovin the grill this summer! We love our little balcony and the weather has been so nice! We also went to a park today that had live music and fun little booths. It was so nice to relax on our blanket. Cherish and her family are in Cedar this week. It's been so fun to visit with their family. Rylan and Hailey are so cute!

Can you believe she will be 6 months old this week! Time has flown by.. She is growing so fast! She can sit up, roll, laugh, play funny little games, babbles constantly, and she is eating some yummy baby food! Art City Days

Last weekend was Art City Days in Springville. They have a carnival, parade, and lots of other fun activites. We went to the parade with my parents, Hailey absolutley loved it! Josh, Danny, Brad, and my Dad played in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. They did pretty good and had fun playing together! It was so good to stay with my family for a while. We also went up to Josh's parents for a bbq. We missed everyone so much!

Josh turned 24 yesterday, he is gettin pretty old! He had to work for 11 hours, but I hope he still had a good day! We went to breakfast and then he opened presents. Atlantic City

We spent the day in Atlantic City! It was so fun to walk the boardwalk and see the Atlantic Ocean. The boardwalk was crazy! There were so many interesting people dancing, singing, playing buckets, ect... And there were a ton of cute shops to look around in. We got some lunch at a very entertaining cafe, it had a jungle theme. Hailey LOVED it! It was like Visiting Vegas with an Ocean!

The pool FINALLY opened today!! I was so excited, I have been waiting for a month.. So Annie, Hailey, and I ran right over when it opened! It was a perfect day! The water was pretty cold, so I was nervous how Hailey would handle it. She just made a few grunts at first and then she was all smiles! We had such a good time!

Last weekend we went to downtown Philadelphia! We got to see a lot of neat things, we especially liked the Liberty Bell! We also got our first Philly Cheese steak from a vendor on the street. I was a little nervous, but we had to try it! They are pretty good! We went shopping, on tours, and hung out with our friends. We had a lot of fun! We are so lucky we are out here and able to do fun little trips!

My little girl is getting so big! Today I fed her rice cereal and gave her a little buscuit.. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. She absolutely loved it! I can't believe how fast she is growing. She does new things everyday.. She is so much fun!

Well we made it out to Philadelphia! Josh drove the 35 hours straight, he is so crazy!! Today was the first day I've seen the sun since we got here. Everything is so green, obviously because it rains and rains and rains... We are really liking it here though. The shopping is amazing! We have a lot of sight seeing to do in these 3 months! So that means a lot of fun posts :) Josh is doing well with summer sales so far, and I'm so proud of him for working so hard! Annie, Brandi, and I went on a nice walk today and took some pictures! We blessed Hailey at my parents house today. It was so nice to get all of our family together to support Hailey on her special day. Josh gave such a good blessing! It was so neat. However, Hailey has been really sick.. We feel so bad for her! I was worried she would have a hard time, but she was pretty good! She is such a sweetie, we just love her to pieces!

Moving to Philadelphia

It's finally here! Josh and I have been planning to move since January. We are moving to Philadelphia so Josh can do summer sales. We are going out with some friends, so we won't be too lonely! We hope it will be a good experience for our little family. I fly out on Wednesday with Hailey, and then Josh will start the 30 hour drive on Wednesday night.. I'm a little nervous about going out alone and about Josh making the drive alone.. We just can't wait to be out there and have the moving part over with. Well we will miss our friends and family SO much! We will see you all in August!

We went to the last Jazz home game last night with my family. It was so much fun! The Jazz killed them so we were happy they won! Hailey came along this time, and she loved it! Haha she loves being around people. It was good to spend time with the family and we always love going to Jazz games!

We had such a fun Easter weekend! On Saturday we went to Josh's parents house and went to dinner. I was sad I didn't get any pictures.. On Easter Sunday we went to church and then went to my parents for an easter egg hung and BBQ. The kids had a blast! The food was so yummy! It was so fun to see our families. We are trying to spend as much time with them as we can before we move to Philadelphia in a couple of weeks.

Jazz Game A.K.A Best Night Ever! And A New Car!

On Friday Kim and James invited us to go to the Jazz Game with them. We had SO much fun! Kim and I got free Jazz T-Shirts and we were all on the jumbo tron! It would have been a lot better if we hadn't lost by one... But at least it was a good game!

We traded in the Lexus for a Toyota Matrix. It was so hard to fit Hailey in the back seat of our old car and we needed something a little bigger to get all of our stuff out to PA. We got a pretty good deal, so we are happy about it!

We were getting Hailey ready for bed tonight and she was being so cute! I decided to pull out the camera, and she started to show off by giggling. Haha I sound like a weirdo, but hey whatever it takes right! Towards the end she starts to giggle a lot more and actually takes her hands out of her mouth.. She is so much fun, we looooove her!!

Spring Break

Our Spring Break was so much fun!! It was so nice to take a little vacation, we have been super busy! So we took the week off and went down to Josh's parents house in St. George. We went down to Mesquite one day to see our Friends! We hardly ever get to see Ty and Brandi so it was fun to catch up! We also got to hang out with other couples going out to do summer sales. They are so much fun! It was like 90 degrees, so we decied to have a BBQ down by the pool. The rest of the week we did some shopping, hiking, and swimming! Now we are back to reality.. for another month! Then we are moving to Boston for the summer!

Since the weather was so nice, we wanted to get out and enjoy the sunshine! We went hiking around Dixie Rock. We had a lot of fun, Hailey was so good for us. She hasn't been outside a lot since it's been so cold up here, but she loves it as long as the sun isn't in her eyes!

Basketball Tournament

This week Josh is playing in the Lehi Alumni basketball tournament, and tonight Hailey and I were able to go watch him play. His team won 40-35! Josh did and awesome job, he has so much fun playing ball. And we love to watch! We got Hailey all dressed up in her Michael Jordan outfit, it was so cute!

I can't believe how fast time has gone by, Hailey is already one month old! She is growing and changing so much. She makes Josh and I smile and laugh all day. And we love making her smile! She is getting so strong. One of her favorite things is to lay on her belly and work on those neck muscles. I can't believe what a good baby she is. She eats and sleep so well, Josh and I are so lucky! Here are some random pictures from the last few weeks.

Josh and I can't believe she is already 1 week old! It has been tiring, but so fun having Hailey around. She is such a sweetie, and always makes us smile.

On December 27th at 5:22 p.m. we got to meet our beautiful little girl! She weighed 8lbs 10 oz and is 20 in long!! For measuring small my entire pregnancy, we were sure shocked at what a chunk she is! She is such a sweetie, and we love having her in our lives.

At four o'clock that morning my water broke so Josh and I packed up and headed to the hospital. When I got there I was 2cm and 80% effaced. Around 8 o'clock there was still no change, so we waited another two hours... Even then I was only a 3. Two more hours passed with no change.. I had been having contractions all morning, and they got to be very painful so I got an epidural which helped a lot, but only worked on one side at a time! It was very frustrating.. I was also very sick and throwing up. So I was pretty miserable by the time my Dr said they could FINALLY start me on pitocin. Within a couple of hours I was a 5 and within one more hour I was a 10! They had me do an hour of rest and descend and then told me it was time to push. My nurse said I would be pushing for 1-3 hours, but within 10 minutes I was holding my little girl! It was such an amazing experience, I can't believe I did it! My Dr was out of town the 26th-28th, so I had the on call Dr. Which made me really nervous, but he turned out to be really nice. Plus Josh and our parents were so sweet and supportive the entire time, I don't know what I would have done without them!

We had a very white Christmas this year! We thought we might be snowed in, but thanks to my sister and brother in law we were able to make it out to see family. Josh and I went to his parents house on Christmas Eve and to my parents house on Christmas for dinner and to exchange presents with family. It was so fun to be able to spend time with both families! Christmas morning we went to my sisters house and played in the snow. Phil built a huge jump with his tractor so everyone had a blast sledding and snowboarding.

So much has happened in the last couple of months! Josh and I moved, so its taken a while to get settled in. We found a cute apartment in Saratoga Springs that we love. Its close to both of our families, school, and work. so we really like the location! I got a job working from home, that I am so excited about! We feel so blessed that I will be able to stay home with our baby and work. Josh will be starting school at UVU in January. He will be going full time, so he will be really busy! He is working towards getting his bachelors in Criminal Justice. Then he will apply to law school. He is so excited, and I am so proud of him for working so hard!

Josh and I were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on December 4th. It was such an amazing day! We have been waiting so long and are so happy we could finally go through the temple together. It was so nice to have our family there, thanks for all your love and support!

I had two baby showers in November, it was so fun to see family and friends. Both of the showers were so fun, thank you to everyone who helped! We are ready to have this baby! These last two weeks are so tough.. I went into emergency labor and delivery on my 21st birthday because of some complications, but everything turned out fine! Then I actually went into labor two days ago, but they gave me a shot to calm my contractions because I wasn't progressing quick enough. So I got a taste of what this will feel like and I'm pretty scared.. 3 hours of painful contractions and thats all I need! My Dr said he thought I would have called him later that night, but the contractions calmed down a lot. So we were kinda disappointed after going through all the excitment! I am sooo uncomfortable so I can't wait till she comes. My Dr said he didn't think I'd make it to my next appointment ( On Wednesday ) But ya never know! Cross your fingers!

For Halloween this year Josh and I decided we wanted to dress up and take my nieces and nephews out trick or treating. Josh is a bounty hunter and I am some kind of nerdy hippie (whatever would fit over my big belly!) The kids looked so cute in their costumes and got so much candy! It was so much fun, and we can't wait to take our little girl next year!

Over the weekend Cari and her family came to Springville and we decided to go to the pumpkin patch! The kids were so excited to pick out their own pumpkin, it was so cute! Josh and I had so much fun spending time with family and making a mess!

Our 1 Year Anniversary

For our 1 year anniversary Josh and I went to Park City for 3 days. We had so much fun together! We went to the Park City Mountain Resort and raced each other on the Alpine slide, shopping at the outlets, on an early morning hike, and to dinner. We were able to get a 1 bedroom suite so we had fun swimming and just hanging out in our room! He made me my favorite dinner one of the nights, it was so cute he wouldn't let me help at all! I was slightly nervous, but it was so good! Thanks Josh for the best year of my life and the fun weekend, I love you!

Josh told me we were going to The Roof for his sisters welcome home dinner. About half way through the dinner the waitress brings ME out roses! I felt a little akward at first because I didn't want to take the spot light off of Jessie.. So then I notice that his whole family is staring at me with huge smiles on their faces and I knew something was going on. Another waitress brought me out a silver platter with roses, chocolate covered strawberries, and the ring in the middle. Then he got down on one knee and proposed! It was so cute!

4)How long were you engaged?
A month and a half

5)What was your favorite part of your wedding day?(and it can't be your husband)
Well the ceremony, but our wedding line was hilarious.. We still laugh about it with our friends.

6) What would you change if you could?
My wedding cake! It was horrible.. My mom even said well what else can you do but laugh! Then my nieces and nephews made it even better by poking their fingers in it :) at least it tasted good!

8) Remember anything special about your wedding ceremony?
I really can't remember anything except looking at Josh and feeling so nervous, but so excited at the same time! Luckily my Mom recorded it.

7 day cruise to Mexico!

Summer Fun Continued...

Josh and I were so excited to go to the ultrasound! It was the most amazing thing we have ever seen. We loved every minute of it! She was being a little stubborn, so the pictures aren't that great, but I wanted to put some up anyway. I am just starting to show, being pregnant is a fun experience! Especially now that the morning sickness and headaches are gone. She has been kicking a lot and Josh was so excited to feel her for the first time!

All the boys in my family LOVE to paintball, so Josh and Danny built a course on the mountain behind our house. They worked so hard all weekend and I think it turned out great! It looks like so much fun, but you'll never catch me out there! I'll post more pictures of their welts and bruises..

We went to Cedar City for Josh's best friend Tylers wedding. And the week after that Josh's sister Jessie got married! It was so much fun to be able to be there for their special day. Congratulations!

Josh and I will be getting sealed in the Salt Lake temple towards the end of September! We are so excited, and would love to have family and friends there.

CALIFORNIA TRIP!

We went to Oceanside CA for a family reuniion. We stayed in an amazing suite right on the beach! We went to Sea World for a day and then spent the rest of the time playin on the beach. It was so fun to see family and relax for a week.

Summer Games 2008

Josh was so excited to put together a team for the summer games this year. We stayed in Cedar for a couple of days with my brother Andy and his family. Josh and his team won 3 out of 4 games, but due to a ridiculous call at the buzzer they will have to wait until next year to win the gold. They did awesome!

Well I am 6 weeks pregnant! Josh and I were shocked at first, but now that reality is sinking in we are getting more excited everyday! We can't believe we are going to have a baby this year! I am due around December 30th. What a life changing experience that will be. We both want a baby boy, but having a girl would be just as fun! We have names picked out already lol. If it is a girl we want Madison, if it is a boy we want Jaxson. We are letting everyone know now so no one steals them!
It was so fun telling family and friends! Everyone is so supportive and excited. Any baby or pregnancy advice is welcome! I am kind of nervous, because I don't know what to expect. I'm just starting to feel sick :p I can't imagine what it will be like when I'm further along! Hopefully everything goes smoothly. I'll keep everyone updated!

We went camping this weekend with my side of the family. We spent two days at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Josh just got a motorcycle, so we took that and my parents and sister brought their toys. It was so much fun! We took a trail down to the back of Fat Mans Misery, then hiked down to play in the Virgin River. It was so good to be able to spend time with everyone!
